Years 4, 5 and 6
Hello, it's fun being in Y4/5/6. We are taught by Mr Blackmore, Mr Colebrook and Mrs Mulligan. We work hard in the core subjects: English, maths and science, but also do lots of interesting things in these as well as the other subjects. We are taugh variety of PE and games and often do well - currently we are area champions in football and netball.
We are lucky to have a nice school field as well as several playgrounds. We are also in the middle of the village, which gives us an interesting local area to study.
One of our favourite parts of the year is the residential trip. Each year we go off from Monday to Friday staying in a Youth Hostel, somewhere in the South-West. We do some outdoor activities, such as caving and climbing, walk in the countryside, visit the coast and other interesting places. It's great fun. Our last trip was to Cheddar and we have included some photos. This year we are going to Fowey in Cornwall - can't wait!
